Toe-side Back Loop Transition.

Before attempting this move you should be able to ride toe-side comfortably and pull off back loop transitions.
It is best to do this move in the de-power loop for control.
The kite action is exactly the same as with the back loop transition.
To initiate this move switch so that you are riding toe side and slowly take the kite as high as you can whilst maintaining speed.
Engage the rail and lean as hard as you can against the kite this is very important as it is engaging your toe side rail that gives you the pop necessary to complete the move. As you initiate the back loop pull slightly on your backhand and sheet the kite in for lift. Lead with your head and look over your old back shoulder / new front shoulder to spot the landing.
Pull hard on your new front hand as you land to gain speed in the new direction.
The same applies as with the standard back loop transition. If you sink upon landing you have pulled too much on your backhand in the initial stages of the move.

Forward loop Transition.

Before attempting this move you should be able to land a regular forward loop.

Start this move at a moderate speed with your kite at 1 o’clock (if on starboard tack, or 11 o'clock on port).
Engage your rail and initiate the move by pulling a little on your back hand and throwing yourself into a forward loop.
It is very important that you don't pull too much to soon on your back hand as you will not be able to exit with any speed.
Looking over your back shoulder helps to initiate the rotation and spot the landing.
As you spot your landing start to pull on your old back hand / new front hand.
When you land dive the kite to gain speed for your exit.
If you find that you are landing and sinking with no power in the kite it properly means that you pulled too much on your back hand as you initiated the move.

Toe-side forward loop transition.

Before attempting this move you should be able to ride toe-side comfortably and pull off forward loop transitions.

The kite action is exactly the same as with the forward loop transition.
To initiate this move keep the kite at 1 o'clock and switch so that you are riding toe side.
Engage the rail, pull slightly on your back hand and throw yourself into a forward loop.
As you come round look over your front shoulder to spot the landing.
Pull hard on your new front hand as you land to gain speed in the new direction.
The same applies as with the standard forward loop transition. If you sink upon landing you have pulled to much on your back hand in the initial stages of the move.
